I really enjoyed The Fellowship of The Ring the first book in the trilogy written by J.R.R. Tolkien. Through the book i enjoyed following Frodo and his allies, First of being given the mystical ring by his uncle Bilbo Baggins his father figure and mentor. After this my favorite part of the book was Frodo and his allies fleeing from the shire from the Ring-Wraiths which at this point are the main antagonist which are in search of Bilbo's ring. Another thing i really enjoyed was the point in the story when Frodo is reunited with his mentor Bilbo. The meaning or theme that i gained and i believe others would ascertain from The Fellowship of The Ring was a trend of friendship. Frodo relies on his friends such as Merry, Pippin, Sam, and Aragon helping him transport the ring along the way. Without his friends Frodo would have died many times before he even left the shire the place where he lives. Even on the edge of the shire the hobbits were saved from a evil oak tree by Tom Bombadil who is a really cool character in my opinion, After staying with Tom for a few days the Hobbits move onto the town of Bree and are introduced to the coolest charterer in the entire book Aragorn, He is introduced after the innkeeper at Bree delivers a message sent from Gandalf to Frodo and his Friends. Then they start traveling with Aragorn they are pursued by some really creepy hooded guys called the Ring Wraiths Frodo was then caught out by one of them and stabbed he was only saved by his friends efforts to save him by getting him to the Elvin town of Rivendell to be saved by their healers from the cursed blade he was stabbed with. After healing the Hobits join a party, to assist them on their journey to destroy the annoying ring. Once again Frodo wouldn't be able to get through the mines of Moira fighting orks with his friends and Gandalf, Then Gandalf then again saves Frodo from Balrog i giant demon, Frodo escapes But Gandalf falls into the abyss with the demon which made me mad because i liked Gandalf and it was sort of a cliff hanger we don't know if he is dead. More help Frodo received from friends is when Lady Galadriel shelters them after their ordeal in the mines of Moria, Then she gives the travelers boats to continue on their journey down the river Anduin.
